The goal of the work was to create a complete design solution for the territory of the gas station and to make the place more functional for people. Today, all our gas stations are built according to a standard project, which makes the solution boring and brings with it environmental problems. In our environment, the gas station is like an alien, so it does not fit into the surroundings.
In order to complete the work, observations were made in the project area and various studies were analyzed, the special spirit of the place was found out, which in turn helped to create a general design idea; interviews with a representative of Terminal Oil and analysis of existing gas station projects (both Estonian and international projects). The design solution also took into account economical rainwater solution principles and tried to reduce the heat island effect caused by dark surfaces.
